Fiction is full of larger-than-life characters and worlds beyond imagination, but one could also argue that professional wrestling is stacked with incredible personalities who perform amazing feats. Throughout the years, the WWE has amassed a variety of characters, some of whom remind us of another show with a plethora of characters: HBO’s Game of Thrones. WWE is full of likable heroes and detestable heels, not unlike Game of Thrones. There are points in GOT similar to the WWE where you find yourself rooting for your favorite character to win a fight, like when Arya Stark sparred with Brienne of Tarth, or when Syrio Forel took on the Kingsguard with a wooden sword. Keep reading to see which Game of Thrones characters we decided to transform into wrestlers in this Game of Thrones WWE mash-up!

Keep in mind that Game of Thrones has an enormous cast of characters, so we can’t turn every single one of them into a WWE wrestler. We took our inspiration for their wrestler profiles from the actors as well as the characters they played, nicknames the characters had and any special weapons or abilities they had. (Gotta hand it to George R.R. Martin: Oathkeeper is an excellent name for both a sword and a WWE finishing move!) Without further ado, we introduce you to tonight’s lineup.

Arya Stark — A Girl With no Name

She’s one tough cookie.

Brienne of Tarth — Brienne the Beauty

She’ll knock you into the dust.

Cersei Lannister — The Lioness

Cersei refuses to take her crown off during matches. Some people joke that she even wears it when she sleeps.

Daenerys Targaryen — Mother of Dragons

Everyone knows when Daenerys is at a match because her dragons wait for her outside the arena.

Davos Seaworth — The Onion Knight

Davos gained his unusual title by smuggling onions and other food items to aid the besieged Storm’s End.

Gregor Clegane — The Mountain

Gregor has sent many a wrestler home with a concussion.

Hodor & the 3-Eyed Raven

Hodor.

Jaime Lannister — Kingslayer

You don’t want to take a blow from Jaime’s golden hand.

Jon Snow — The White Wolf

Ghost can often be seen watching Jon’s matches from a special booth.

Jorah Mormont — The Andal

Jorah’s greyscale scars still cover his body, even after being cured.

Khal Drogo — The Great Khal

Drogo also has a great side hustle modeling for men’s hair products.

Melisandre — The Red Witch

Don’t let her appearance fool you. She’s over a century old-perhaps even as old as 400!

The Night King

All fighters dread the day they are fated to step into the ring with the Night King.

Olenna Tyrell — The Queen of Thorns

Olenna is a firecracker of a lady and we all wish she could be our grandmother.

Robert Baratheon — The Usurper

Robert may seem washed up, but he’s determined to eat, drink and wrestle himself to an early grave.

Samwell Tarly — Sam The Slayer

Sam is a sweetheart and we’re grateful to have him as part of WWEsteros.

Sandor Clegane — The Hound

Never get between this man and his chicken.

Sansa Stark — Little Bird

We admire Sansa’s resilience. She might have to change her ring name to something more menacing.

Tyrion Lannister — The Half Man

He wrestles and he knows things.

Ygritte — Kissed by Fire

Ygritte loves the outdoors, and she has her own wildlife rescue organization.

We hope you enjoyed all of our WWE and Game of Thrones mashups! Which fighter profile was your favorite? Do you have any other Game of Thrones characters that you’d like to see as wrestlers? Are you looking forward to season eight of Game of Thrones and/or the latest WWE match? Feel free to let us know below in the comments. (Brownie points to you if you make your own stat sheet for your suggested fighters!)
